Sicill written by the kadı of Gabela regarding the dispute between the Venetian and Ragusan merchants over the salt trade rights at the port of Gabela. The kadı in the presense of the mutasarrıf of Hersek listened to both sides and witnesses. The main issue was the ownersip of the salt house (tuzhane ) at the port. It was decided that the salt house belonged to the Venetians. It was also decided that the Venetians would bring their salt by the sea and the Ragusan through land route.
