According to ahdname and conditions of peace, ships from the Porte and Venice are supposed to be in peace when they come accross each other on the sea. However, there was a battle between Venetian shipsled by the Kapudan (Admiral) of Crete and Ottoman ones in the port of Andize as reported by Perviz Bey. The Dodge is asked to ensure that the Venetians obey the peace as well.
