Order sent to the sancakbey and kadı of Sakız upon the request of the bailo regarding the taxes demanded from the Venetian merchants who come for trade. In accordance with the ahdname, the Venetian merchants are exempted from taxes including avarız, haraç, ispençe etc. And orders have been sent previously in this regard. However, a certain Jewish official and some others have been demanding haraç from the Venetians. The sancakbey and kadı are ordered to stop these people and act in line with the ahdname.
