In accordance with the ahdname, the Venetian merchants are exempted from taxes including avarız, haraç, ispençe etc. And orders have been sent previously in this regard. However, a certain Jewish official and some others have been demanding haraç from the Venetians. The sancakbey and kadı are ordered to stop these people and act in line with the ahdname.
