Order sent to the sancakbeys and kadıs located on the route from Venice to Istanbul and kapudans and dizdars on the sea regarding the appointment of a new Venetian bailo to Istanbul as the current one finished his term. It is said that a kapucu (there is a gap in place of his name in the text), yeniçeri (there is a gap in place of his name in the text) and the Venetian dragoman Cenazin were sent to meet him. The Ottoman officials are ordered to ensure the safety of the bailo traveling on the sea. If he approaches any port, his need are to be provided on the condition that he pays for them.
