Order sent by the Porte regarding two Venetian merchants. These merchants hired a non-Muslim Ottoman subject to help them with their business in İstanbul. However, the Ottoman subject owed some money to other people who tried to confiscate the goods that were sent by the Venetian merchants to this Ottoman subject. As this act is against the ahdname and the Venetian merchants are not liable for the debt of their worker, the Ottoman officials are ordered to stop these people and return the goods of the merchants.
