Although orders were sent previously saying that corsair activities in the region were to be stopped, certain Ottoman subjects from the area attacked on a Venetian merchant ship and took goods and tools on the board. The merchant and four of his men were saved and reported this attack. The mutasarrıf and kadı are ordered to find the merchant's goods and return them.
