Mektub sent by the grand admiral to the sancakbeys of İskenderiye and Karlıili and kadıs, kethüdas, janissary commanders, ayans and other officials in these sancaks regarding the corsair activities originating from Ülgün and Ayamavra in line with the imperial order sent previously (see the previous entry). Ottoman subjects from these districts have boats and been engaging in corsair activites on the Venetian lands and subjects. The sancakbeys are asked to obey the imperial order. They are asked to summon everyone owning boats. Those who use boats for trade should be given a hüccet after they show guarantors. These guarantors are to be reported to the Porte with their names and descriptions. Boats of the other ones who are engaged in corsairs activities are to be destroyed.
