Order sent upon the request of the bailo regarding the appointment of a newVenetian consul to Gelibolu. The new consul is the son of the head dragoman. However, since he has other services to be rendered at the Porte, he is unable to personally come to Gelibolu. So, another Venetian was sent to the area in his place. Moreover, the Ottoman officials are ordered not to oppress the Venetian ships and ships from the islands that belong to the Venetians at the customs of Gelibolu and Boğazhisar.
