It has been reported that these two were reluctant to pay their debts. The Ottoman officials are ordered to collect these monies for the consul. If they cannot pay, the beylerbeyi and kadı will collect them from the creditors and if not, they will deduct the amount from the customs fees of the Venetian merchants.
