Order sent to the kadı and sancakbey of Jarusalem upon the request of the bailo regarding the Catholic clergy in Beytü'l-lahm and Gamame and Mezar-ı Hazret-i Mürim. Traditionally since the conquest of Jarusalem, these churches were staffed with the Catholic priests. Priests and monks belonging to other sects could only visit but not work in these churches. However, recently non-Catholic monks began to harass Catholic monks. The kadı and sancakbey are ordered to stop this.
